Meet the Doctor
Originally from Albuquerque, NM, Dr. Mangum began his dental career over 10 years ago. Starting out as a sterilization technician, Dr. Mangum worked his way up to certified dental assistant while attaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of New Mexico. After undergrad, Dr. Mangum attended Western University of Health Sciences in California where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. While in dental school, Dr. Mangum was on the Dean's list and participated in the Sports Dentistry Club.
In order to provide quality treatment options for patients, Dr, Mangum understands the importance of keeping up to date with dental technology and materials and is actively pursuing continuing education classes in addition to being a member of several highly-regarded dental professional affiliations. He volunteers his time and skills regularly and believes in giving back to the community.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mangum and his wife, Nicole, stay busy chasing around their three young children, Hudson, Nora, and Sophia, and Maverick, their golden retriever. Dr. Mangum is a sports enthusiast and enjoys playing softball, basketball, and football. He is also a lifelong fan of the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.
